Everyone is so nice and caring.<br>Omar who can be a bad kitty was very good for the doctor and assistant/technician.<br>I am happy to report that Omar is healing up great and is in better spirits. “Our English Mastiff had an ear infection for months. He had been to his vet for it and it didn't go away. Then he was sedated, the ear was flushed at a UC vet and it still came back. He has been on so many rounds of antibiotics and nothing worked. My brother in law recommended we try Pleasantville animal hospital (which is an hour away from us.) Our first impression of this vet was awesome they were not booked out super far. Everybody there was very nice and treated us well. At our first appointment we were given a round of medication for our dog's ear. We treated our dog for 20 days with this medication and the ear infection still remained. However, this vet followed up with us via text to track his progress. We ended up having to sedate him again to have his ear flushed. Our dog's original vet doesn't cut nails and won't sedate him because he's such a large dog. Pleasantville treated him with such kindness and great care. His nails were trimmed and he had a thorough exam while he was sedated. Now I am so happy to report that our dog's ear infection is finally gone. It is so nice to see our dog back to his usual self. Thank you Pleasantville Animal Hospital for such a great experience this place was worth the drive!“

“Always a short wait, always busy (it may not have long lines but they’re on the phone with people or talking to someone in person every time I am there). We like most of the veterinarians and the staff. Front desk is always professional. Super clean. Usually a video on in the waiting area for children. Benches are comfortable while waiting. We bring two different breed cats (age 1 and 4 with different personalities and concerns). There’s enough benches and space to keeps the dogs at distances from each other and the cats away from the dogs.“

“We have been using Hickory Kennels since our dog was a puppy. Now he's a 3 year old and 94 pounds, but still very much puppy.<br><br>Hickory Kennels does a wonderful job of treating our dog like his family, and he can definitely be a high energy handful. The staff are wonderful and always so helpful in scheduling and communication. They have even been accommodating when I needed to change or forgot to schedule a stay.<br><br>If you are uncomfortable leaving your pet at a kennel, check out Hickory. I'm sure they can put you at ease and your pet can enjoy a stresfree vacation while you do the same.“

“Dr Scacia and Dr Gibson have both been very nice. My dog had leg surgery and everything went well. I'm back today to have stitches removed and I would have prefered to go in with my dog. It's rediculous. Time to move on from the masks that DO NOT prevent covid. It will all come out eventually. If you believe they work then people should be able to come in. Swan Creek and Churchville allow u in. U just wait in your car til your appt time. This is just very annoying and I'm over it! No one did this with the flu. That causes death also. Other then this it is a great veterinary clinic!“

“Ok, this review will be on the overall Veterinary hospital. Unfortunately the vet we've been seeing for more than 30 years is now semi-retired?! I was told that when I asked about Dr. Zulty. I can't fault him for that, I just prefer him as our pets vet and not getting a different one each time I have to take a pet there. Dr. Zulty was with me both times my elderly dogs passed away. That said here is the review for this visit. I rescued a kitten with my son and a friend from her work. I was immediately drawn to one particular kitten who was covered with black greasy substance and infested with fleas and extremely weak and tiny. He needed someone to just help him and love him like he deserves. After getting him home we immediately bathed him with cat shampoo which killed the fleas and eggs. We got lucky! I called the vets in the morning to ask if I could bring him in to have him checked by the vet & any shots.. I was able to get an appointment that day. Kudos!! I took him into the vets and it wasn't busy so I was called back in less than 5 minutes! Another positive! I'm on a roll with this visit lol. I put the carrier on the metal table and he came out and dead fleas fell off him so they asked if he was given something for fleas. I told them no, just bathed him in lavender mint cat shampoo and it killed all the fleas. They couldn't believe it but confirmed he had no live fleas and they treated him anyway with monthly flea/tick prevention. They took him to the back to do the exam and temp, weight etc. This is the reason for the 4/5. I prefer the vets examine my pet in my presence and do what they need to in the room with me there. Also bc I won't get to see Dr. Zulty. Now the vet came in holding our little guy and said he weighed .4lb, and approx 4-5weeks old. I knew he was young but thought he was probably the runt. The vet I saw was very nice and she explained everything to me and answered my questions about a few things. Overall a good experience. He had an eye infection which went away with prescription drops. She said she would give me a few oral syringes to feed him kitten replacement milk by hand every few hours. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and helpful as well. The only thing that took longer than expected was waiting to pay the bill. I should mention that before they do anything to your pet they will ask you if you are ok with it and the prices. Overall I totally recommend this place for all your pets! “Rosedale Vet is the best! Dr. Sue Reiter has been our Vet for years, and has helped us so much with our previous dog Buster, and now Sadie. She is incredibly caring, knowledgeable, and works diligently to find a cause and answer to the health issue. “Wow what a great compassionate and honest place. Everyone from the girls in the front office to the doctors are just amazing! My dog actually loves going to the vet. Frankie had a growth on the side of his mouth that was growing so we went to have it looked at and because it had grown we agreed at that time that the best course of action was to have it removed and tested. Well the day of the surgery came and we went in bright and early. Doctor Mark (the surgeon) was there and took a look at it. I told the doctor that it I believed it had gotten smaller and it had developed a scab. The girl at the front desk confirmed my suspicion as she had seen it larger in the last visit. Doctor Mark said that it might not need to be removed especially since it had gotten smaller. He told me to take Frankie home and wait a week to see what would happen. He thought it might just go away and yes, that is what happened, it did go away. I called today to say thank you and they were as happy as I was that there was no need for surgery. I highly recommend Edgewood Veterinary Hospital.“
