“We hired American Bath to renovate space in our basement. We had a small bathroom and a tiny laundry with an adjacent hallway. We wanted to merge two rooms into one and expand it by using some space from the hallway. When I first met with Gary from American Bath, I described our idea very broadly. He meticulously measured everything and in a few days, we had a detailed plan with the estimate. While we had an idea, it all depended on professionalism of contractors. And they did an excellent job. Everything looks beautiful and the quality of work is outstanding. During remodel, Juliya and Luke promptly responded to all our concerns. “I had a few estimates but Kuby and his team really were above and beyond any other company. They were very flexible and open to discussing/resolving any issues (even when made by the customer). We were able to cut costs by doing the install ourselves, but always had Kuby’s direct line when we had a question or needed to make adjustments. These pictures are not finished yet, still working on some finishing touches. But quality and service is something they stand behind. Would use again anytime.“

“I cannot say enough good things about working with Lisa and Leroy. First of all, they were at the absolute top end of our price range (which made me a little nervous), but I really wanted a super colorful space and I couldn't find another designer who had such a great portfolio with eclectic colorful spaces. And, yes, they delivered on color, but they also delivered on SO MUCH MORE.

Four great things about working with Lisa and Leroy (1) Budget - yes, they are expensive, but they were great at working within our budget range and never going over. They also never made me feel bad or uncomfortable when I didn't want to splurge on something (2) we hired Lisa and Leroy for interior design, but also ended up loving how they planned the functionality of the space. swivel chairs between the living space and the kitchen. a fizzy water faucet. wonderfully designed cabinet spaces. more windows and light. etc. (3) execution - every week we received detailed emails from Katie letting us know what would be happening and when - re: construction. everything moved along so well and we never felt "in the dark" regarding progress on a large renovation (4) the overall space is unique and original, just like I wanted. it's both incredibly functional in serving the needs of our family and incredibly beautiful. “Andrea Houck has provided my husband and me (as relatively new empty nesters) with stellar interior design services at two homes now, invariably with beautiful results! She worked hard to understand our tastes and objectives with each room, then presented us with a variety of options, usually nailing it the first time but working with us to modify the initial plans, from time to time, based on our inputs. Her design presentations include to-scale pictorial designs, pictures of furniture and artwork, samples (fabric, paint, wallpaper, etc.), and pricing, and once decisions are made, a clear timeline for installations. When everything is ready, she shows up with her team of skilled workers (always on the scheduled date), supervises their work, and, voila, the finished product appears with little effort on our part! She executes her work with creativity, imagination, and professionalism -- and she is fun to work with! “Needed new covers and some replacement cushions for a built-in kitchen banquette. While the seat cushion foam pieces were fine, the back cushions had to be created from scratch. We found an ample variety of washable fabrics to select from. The finished cushions are lovely. The fabric we chose was a multi-tone directional stripe, and everything was matched correctly, both at the seams and where the cushions meet up. We found the prices modest and June is pleasant to work with. We are very happy.“

“A kitchen renovation is a huge project and like most I got several quotes and talked to many vendors. Fernando provided a floorplan, design and estimate that was right on point for me. We needed to remove a load bearing wall and completely gut our kitchen. Fernando went the extra mile to get permits, engineer drawings and all things necessary to make sure we were doing things the right way in my 1930's home. The team working on our kitchen over 3 month time period were hard working, detailed, clean and thorough. We ran into a bump when all the air vents to take air to the second floor were in the wall and needed to be reconfigured but they handled it well and re-did it all. I'm so incredibly happy with our finished kitchen/dining room we feel like we have a completely new house.“

“I recently inherited a lithograph that was kept in a garage in Florida, that was severely aged; having some water damage and mold on the art itself. I brought the art to Matin and her team because I had heard of their services and I hoped they would be able to repair it.

To say my jaw dropped when I saw the work done is an understatement. It was like night and day. If you saw the piece today, you would have never guessed that it was damaged.

Mr. Carter liberated our senses and showed us how to keep our antique collections and make them new again through curating. It is impossible to talk about design and the last 15 years of style evolution with out discussing his body of work. Mr. Cater is a national treasure and DC is very-very lucky to have him. Why has he not been apart of the White House redesign yet? Big mystery to me.“
