They get one star because I cannot give zero. They have now shredded my flower bed three separate times. The on-site supervisor (who genuinely believes "on-site" means "Never here") promised to put a sign in the bed two months ago, instructing the weed-wackers to not cut down my plants. He did not put the sign in the bed, and they continue to hack to pieces two acanthuses (bear britches) that are four feet wide with more than ten four-foot flower stalks. Will not show up for appointments or return calls. Trying to get dead landscaping that is under warranty replaced for a year. Heed all the bad reviews and don't hire.

Our HOA put Akehurst under contract on the recommendation of a neighbor but it's been a long tough struggle to get the work done in any sort of efficient manner. Not a giant property but they miss pruning bushes on the side lots - over and over - and it's like pulling teeth to get proper edging. We'll not be renewing.
