Our HOA put Akehurst under contract on the recommendation of a neighbor but it's been a long tough struggle to get the work done in any sort of efficient manner. Not a giant property but they miss pruning bushes on the side lots - over and over - and it's like pulling teeth to get proper edging. We'll not be renewing.

Akehurst cuts the common area in our neighborhood, which includes a small part in front our home. They continuously ride up into my front lawn and scalp the grass down to the dirt. This has happened for 2.5 years. Just recently I called and spoken to their local area rep and he said he would help reseed and that I shouldn't have to worry about it. No follow through. It happened again the following week- I messaged the same rep and no reply. Very disappointed with this company. I do not recommend. This was an easy fix and they failed to do anything.

I have had a contract for my business with Akehurst for the past 4 years. They started great but as with most business, they never forget to send the monthly bills but always forget some part of the contracted services. 2 years ago they accidentally spayed a Weed Control on the grass that killed 3 large trees on the property and it took over a year to get them replaced. This year they forgot to Aerate and Over-seed all my properties. I called Akehurst and was told that they have to check my contract. I mailed my contract copy to show them that they already charged me $850 for this service.
