The following is merely my opinion: I feel that the $1,700 we spent on Rasevic Snow Services this season was wasted. When I met them last summer to plan for the Winter, I was really just looking for a good old boy with a snow plow. I signed their very professional and encompassing contract, and I admit, I should have read it thoroughly first. It seems to give them most of the power and control, and when their invoices come, in my opinion, they are expensive. Did we really have substantial snow fall in the Bethesda / DC area this Winter? I recently contracted with Rasevic Landscape Company to demolish and rebuild my backyard hardscape, driveway and fence. Rasevic provided excellent service and I love the completed project. Here are some relevant points related to my 5 star rating: 1) They were timely and communicative. 2) I did not feel "nickel and dimed". 3) Once the project started they worked to completion rather that providing start/stop onsite services 4) There were no surprises. 5) The work crews were focused, hardworking individuals who cleaned up after each day's work. 6) The workmanship is excellent (and I've done many projects in the past). 7. The job was completed within the promised timeframe. All in all - quality customer service and quality project. I wouldn't hesitate to use Rasevic Landscape Company again. PS - for some reason I am listed as SF, CA. This review is for Washington, DC.
They are persistent about sending invoices! Did we really have substantial snow fall in the Bethesda / DC area this Winter? I don't think so, and hence, they didn't even set a plow to our property! Their multiple applications of salt, snow melt and brine seemed totally unnecessary. But their contract gives them complete control to come to the property based on certain factors and at their "discretion." When I told Paul by e-mail mid-season that I would like them to only come to our property when there are two inches of snow on the ground or more, he said that would be a different contract and more expensive! When I later asked him if they take pictures of the work they did at each visit, he didn't respond. Then, to cancel the contract, you need to give them 30 days written notice, though he finally acquiesced to let me cancel early. I will look for a simpler service next winter.. My advice to Rasevic would be to strive for customer satisfaction. If you have an unhappy customer like myself, I think it's better to fix it and do certain things to make the customer happy rather than simply refer to that long wordy contract with it's upcharges, penalties and rigid control.. And we can do without all the duplicate invoicing.. Glad to be done with them.
