Such clear, thorough communication and prompt follow up…they replaced our roof, clean our gutters and even removed our prehistoric roof antenna and satellite dish when we needed them to. Really great company who don’t take their reputation for granted!

We bought a fixer upper that made the t.v. shows look like child's play. In the first year alone we marched thirteen different contractors through our house. All but one of the thirteen came in over their original estimate; Samuel C Boyd Roofing was the only contractor to come back to me, after doing the repair work on our slate roof, to say that the damage wasn't as bad as they originally anticipated, and the final price was a couple of hundred dollars under their original estimate. They didn't have to do that. I had already agreed to the higher price, after all. That honesty sat with me for ten years until it finally came time to replace the slate entirely. I'd used Samuel C Boyd over the course of those ten years to give me patch work on the slate as necessary over the years leading up to replacing our slate. They always arrived on time, performed the work in an excellent and entirely courteous manner. Although we took a couple of estimates on replacing our slate roof, we found no company as forthcoming and as genuinely willing to please as Boyd. The did an astounding job of replacing our slate roof. Thirty thousand slate tiles and ten thousand pounds later our house is the envy of the neighborhood. They are the best contracting company with which we've ever dealt.
