I have kinky/black hair. A stylist there (I think her name is Esperansa) has a lot of experience with black hair. She didn't burn my scalp and did a great job blowing out my hair. I recommend you request her specifically if you have a kinky texture.

However, whenever I call in to speak with her or a stylist regarding any services, I keep getting routed to someone who doesn't know what they are talking about. Instead of forwarding me to her or another female stylist to discuss when I can come in and for what, I've spoken to a guy who keeps repeating "we have all types for stylists. you can come in for whatever" which isn't reassuring when you have a high maintenance...read full review
