“Update 9/13: We received a call from a manager at Clarksville Heating, who took our concerns in the original review very seriously. The following week a new technician visited and actually troubleshooted the problem. Without going into too much detail, the issue we are having can be very time consuming and challenging to get to the bottom.of, so even after he was done we aren't 100% sure it is fixed. However, we are pleased that he tried to address the underlying problem (instead of just applying a band aid like last time) and he identified and fixed some issues that were very likely at the root of the problem. So far, our heat pump is still working, but he also said we could call him back should we have further issues with it, so that he could troibleshoot more. We appreciate the timely follow up service and that Clarksville heard our concerns.
In short, we do not recommend Clarksville Heating due to the poor service a technician provided by (1) arriving 1.5 hours outside the service window, and (2) failing to take the time to diagnose the root cause of an issue with our heat pump, which periodically failed.
We called Clarksville Heating to help us address a recurring problem related to our heat pump. The heat pump stopped working three times within the span of a few months and kept blowing a fuse in the air handler. We were hoping that Clarksville Heating would be able to identify the root cause of the issue and diagnose the reason for the heat pump’s failure.
The Clarksville Heating technician arrived 1.5 hours after the arrival window and Clarksville Heating did not contact us first to provide an ETA. After patiently waiting, we had to call them to receive an updated ETA.
After the technician arrived, we explained the history of the heat pump's failure and that we were looking for a root cause of the heat pump failure. After doing his work, the technician said that he could not find a short. He charged $400 for the appointment, which included replacing the blown fuse. The fuse then blew again four hours later.
He did not take the time to diagnose the underlying cause of the blown fuse, which is the entire purpose of the call, and something that any HVAC professional should do.
We do not recommend Clarksville Heating unless or until they can provide a technician who will take the time to adequately identify the root cause of the issue.

“What an incredible experience from start to finish. Service calls and doctor appointments - share a common thread - no one wants either but they are necessary for a functioning home or your personal health. Beltway HVAC is the company you want to call when your HVAC goes pear shaped. They provide a 4 hour service window - which I’m usually very Leary about, lots of bad experiences with 4 hour window businesses - but Beltway kept the communication lines open - I was alerted a couple days prior, the day of the service and when my technician was en route.
Our technician, Moe was great - he was thorough - friendly - professional - knowledgeable, personable - and explained the issues and walked us through the problems and the solutions at a level we could understand. I was comfortable with the cost - it’s a great value when you have a company that cares about your equipment and maintaining it for a lifetime. I was upfront with my cost ceiling and just asked that he let me know when we were getting close - there was transparency through the whole process. Fortunately we didn’t even come close. Overall I’m very happy with Beltway HVAC and would recommend them 100 times over. I’m actually looking forward to the next time I need a service“

Brad came out three times to give me estimates on various options and to answer all of my questions. He's very knowledgeable and professional.
