Waxing near Greenbelt

“I know EBC is reportedly closed but I've decided to review it anyway just in case she decides to reopen. I went to Ms. Paulette for YEARS! I just came across her business on Yelp because I was looking for a facialist and decided to see if she's still in Greenbelt. First of all, I have YET to find anyone that does a facial like her. She is the bomb. I don't know how old she is but her skin is FLAWLESS; that of a 30 something year old woman and I'm sure she's well into her 60s at the least. Her expertise is phenomenal and so is her customer service. I know she has moved her location from Largo to Greenbelt (I've been a client at both) and it bothers me that she has closed once again. She really is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to skincare. I'm thinking she just keeps getting the wrong employees or maybe she's hard to work for. If it's the latter, people usually say the real experts have super high expectations. Considering how great she is with skincare, high expectations is probably what I love about her. Ms. Paulette if you're reading this, please send me a message and tell me where you are. Our skin needs your hands and expertise! P.S. I didn't have any scheduling conflicts or non-shows from her. Not giving excuses but I'm thinking something must've happened considering the other two ladies reviews are not that far apart. If she shows up in another location, do yourself and your skin a favor and give her a chance.“

“The entire experience at this spa was so pleasant and relaxing. The decor and aesthetic are so calming and comfortable. The owner and staff have done a great job creating a soothing experience without any overwhelming aromas. The waiting room has large massage chairs and fresh water. The bathrooms are clean and nicely decorated. I've visited the spa twice now in the past month, each time getting a 45-minute massage with Juan. I've been dealing with tight muscles and sciatica pain on my left side for quite some time and Juan was very intentional with his massages. He had no issue using the whole 45 minutes to focus on my problem areas. He also showed me several videos with stretches that I've actively been doing since he showed me and they seem to be effective. I will definitely be back. Making an appointment is easy and they accept HSA payment as well.“

Specialities: Zavia is a talented faux locs artist. I have consistently and for years left her shop with the best looking Bohemian locs in town. She is also skilled at growing your own hair underneath, especially if your goal is to grow your own locs. My hair feels healthy and is getting to a length where I will feel comfortable wearing it out. She is also efficient and I am in and out within a reasonable time - now waiting around on other clients. My time is my time and I value that type of service.“

“I just had a massage with Kaye and it was the best massage I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot). She is calm and quiet but is so talented. She asked the right questions about what I needed and then went to work. Her style is similar to a traditional Swedish massage but she is really strong so she gets to much deeper layers of muscles. Despite being so strong the massage never hurts. It’s just bliss and my body feels so much better after. I was even falling asleep during it. The oils are nice and the atmosphere is really nice. “L4 is located in Laurel on the 3rd floor of the building. I found it on Groupon since I wasn't so familiar with services in this area, and was super glad I went with this out of other businesses I found. Shavi is the beauty specialist that provides a myriad of services: Microblading/microshading,, teeth whitening, facials, among others. I had two appointments for a Microblading and microshading mix for my eyebrows and she did her magic on my brows! One of my brows didn't take up a lot of the ink initially and Shavi worked with me to even set up a third appointment free of charge to make sure that my brows appeared even. She is patient and listens to your input on the brow shape, color intensity, etc and provides thorough aftercare instructions and products. Shavi's services are also priced quite competitive. Definitely recommend her!“
