This woman, Mary-Anne (I believe she’s the owner), made my whole week and I’m not even sure she knows it. I was having a a ROUGH week at work. The kind where Tuesday felt for sure like it needed to be Friday. It’s Thursday and I have done over 10 exercise classes, between Pilates and barre this week. My body was in pain! I decided to cancel my barre class for this evening and book myself a massage since my husband was heading out of town with my daughter. I showed up to the spa and I could immediately tell by the looks on their faces that something was wrong. I said “oh no, do not have an appointment today?“ One of the ladies there politely pointed out that they had me on the schedule for tomorrow. That’s when I knew I had messed up. I had accidentally booked myself for the next day, which I couldn’t do. I told them I was so sorry and that I was going to have to reschedule. They asked me if I could do Saturday, but I couldn’t because I’m going out of town. That is when Mary-Anne told me that she would stay and take me. I was hesitant because I felt bad. Everybody was getting ready to go home when I got there. I never would have asked any of them to stay to accommodate me when I was the one who messed up. Nonetheless, she gracefully stayed and gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had in my life! I floated out of there feeling like a completely different person. I told her about my two current pain points being my back and my legs. I could tell that she was a true healer because she paid attention to other parts of my body that I hadn’t even told her were hurting me, like my arthritic ankle. Moral of the story, I feel like a new person and I highly recommend!
