I am very satisfied with Dr Katherine Thompson and her staff. She gives a thorough exam, without rushing you and the exam Includes blood pressure screening. Dr Thompson listens and reviews my notes from previous years. Tanya and the other staff are all pleasant, knowledgeable, experienced and have worked there for many, many years. I am not an easy patient/customer and I highly recommend this practice.
Looking for privacy, upscale, professional salon then Hair Fantasy is the spot I recommend. This is not a strip mall hair salon (no offense). Hair Fantasy is nestled in a private business park off of Greenbelt Road, easily accessible via 295 from VA/DC/MD. They have been in the business of helping people mainly with hair loss issues for over 15 years. There are lot of people who have thinning hair, alopecia, male pattern baldness and don't know what to do. If you have embraced your thinning hair, great -however if you are at your wits end and If you don't know what to do, then this is place to call. There are no rows of Stylists here, client privacy is of paramount importance with private salon rooms. Hair Fantasy is NOT a one size fits all they really do try to make it a special experience for each client. Women from another well known hair loss clinic sometimes show up at Hair Fantasy because they didn't know there was an alternative in the area. They are exclusively offering laser treatment to combat hair loss and increase hair growth, in the Greenbelt area. If you are coming in from out of town - call ahead for recommended places to stay. While Hair Fantasy specializes in Hair Replacement technology and Hair units they also know how to whip up some fantastic hair styles. Frankly, this is my go to hair spot and I do not have a hair loss issue so even if you don't, you should still give them a call. They won't talk you to death unless you want them to. They are professional and friendly.There is no loud music, obscenity or the like - reread the first sentence. If your idea of fun is sitting in a hair salon for hours on a Saturday then try enjoying your Saturday. Hair Fantasy is closed on Saturday but open - Sunday, Tuesday through Friday appointment only. Believe or not, those Sunday appointments book fast. IF I sound like I know a lot about them - I do - been a fan for years of Hair Fantasy! The professionals at Hair Fantasy keep up with the latest trends in Hair, styling, cutting and coloring. They have a diverse clientele and welcome new clients. If you make an appointment let them know you heard about it on Yelp. They might offer you a 10% discount on a service. .

LOVEEE my hair. My stylist was Lena I received a traditional sew in which turned out perfect. Wash and blow dry was included and my install was flat and laid to perfection. She definitely made me a returning customer.
I left a review here years ago and I thought I should update it -- and this is when I realized just how many years ago I left my original review (it is no longer visible). I have been coming here for over 20 years, would not go anywhere else! Excellent quality and the best things is -- Amal will find what works best for you and your hair even if you don't know what it is. She is great with giving advice and making the style work for your hair type.

The salon is friendly, relaxing and very professional. My hair is all natural. My daughter referred to this salon. I was hesitate, finally I made my appointment. I had no clue as to what I wanted nor needed. I went on the site and booked with Carolyn. I was advised by my daughter that everyone at the salon did hair very well. She said just let the stylist tell you what you need. I was asked how I wanted my hair, I didn't have a clue. Carolyn looked at my hair and said I got you. I am so pleased with my hair. My cost was pricey, but as the saying goes you get, what you pay for. I will be a regular customer. My only wish is that a salon opens in Jacksonville Florida on the Westside. I'm moving in September and will have to travel back and forth for excellent haircare. Thanks for the excellent services, professionalism and total experience.

This woman, Mary-Anne (I believe she’s the owner), made my whole week and I’m not even sure she knows it. I was having a a ROUGH week at work. The kind where Tuesday felt for sure like it needed to be Friday. It’s Thursday and I have done over 10 exercise classes, between Pilates and barre this week. My body was in pain! I decided to cancel my barre class for this evening and book myself a massage since my husband was heading out of town with my daughter. I showed up to the spa and I could immediately tell by the looks on their faces that something was wrong. I said “oh no, do not have an appointment today?“ One of the ladies there politely pointed out that they had me on the schedule for tomorrow. That’s when I knew I had messed up. I had accidentally booked myself for the next day, which I couldn’t do. I told them I was so sorry and that I was going to have to reschedule. They asked me if I could do Saturday, but I couldn’t because I’m going out of town. That is when Mary-Anne told me that she would stay and take me. I was hesitant because I felt bad. Everybody was getting ready to go home when I got there. I never would have asked any of them to stay to accommodate me when I was the one who messed up. Nonetheless, she gracefully stayed and gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had in my life! I floated out of there feeling like a completely different person. I told her about my two current pain points being my back and my legs. I could tell that she was a true healer because she paid attention to other parts of my body that I hadn’t even told her were hurting me, like my arthritic ankle. Moral of the story, I feel like a new person and I highly recommend!
I have been seeing Dr Powers for the past 42 years. His staff is always friendly and attentive to any issues I have and they do a great job with my teeth. I think so much of his office that I moved to Florida 20 years ago and still have him take care of my teeth when I come up to Maryland a couple of times a year.

Tariell did the bridge prep work today, and Celeste did the work 2 weeks ago. Doctor Shklyar did the fine detail work on the bridge. All in all, very professionally done! I always enjoy interacting with the staff in your office and I also like the way the two doctors provide details as they're working and what's going to happen next. I can. It always have been able to recommend this practice in the highest possible manner.
