“I’ve been a client of Fabulocs for more than a year now and I’m grateful that I found it. My primary stylist is Ms. Nimat who is always professional and courteous, and lends reasonable and focused critique and advice on both general or specialized hair maintenance and upkeep. Almost every experience with Ms Nimat has been exemplary and I appreciate her work and expertise. I also appreciate that all of the stylists are very knowledgeable and proficient in loc styling and care. There are only a few concerns that I have for the salon overall, and one of them is consistency amongst stylists. I’m fully aware that every stylist operates differently, which is a standard expectation in hair care. More specifically, I believe there should be a standard protocol for stylist shampoo and conditioning for the salon, and I don’t believe this is the case for Fabulocs (and if there is a protocol in place, it should be followed by every stylist). The only other concern I have is there should be a better balance in bookings for clients so that waiting for an appointment is better mitigated. There are sometimes where I’ve only waited 5-10 minutes for various iterations (wash, styling, or dryer), but a few times I’ve had to wait for extended period of time for one or more of those evolutions during my appointment, extending my time past the usual hour or so. Despite the very infrequent but still significant issues I’ve had, overall, my experience with Fabulocs has been amazing and I highly recommend them to any future potential clients looking for a well-run, professional, high expertise salon.“

The extractions were painless, which was a stark contrast to my past experiences. She expertly used a combination of manual extractions, a skin spatula, and a pore vacuum hydrofacial tool. Specialities: Zavia is a talented faux locs artist. I have consistently and for years left her shop with the best looking Bohemian locs in town. She is also skilled at growing your own hair underneath, especially if your goal is to grow your own locs. My hair feels healthy and is getting to a length where I will feel comfortable wearing it out. She is also efficient and I am in and out within a reasonable time - now waiting around on other clients. My time is my time and I value that type of service.“

“I just had a massage with Kaye and it was the best massage I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot). She is calm and quiet but is so talented. She asked the right questions about what I needed and then went to work. Her style is similar to a traditional Swedish massage but she is really strong so she gets to much deeper layers of muscles. Despite being so strong the massage never hurts. It’s just bliss and my body feels so much better after. I was even falling asleep during it. The oils are nice and the atmosphere is really nice. I wish I lived here so I could get a massage every week. Do yourself a favor and get a massage from Kaye. She really has a gift for it and you will be thankful.“
