“I love it here!! Coming from experiencing the type of stylists many of us have. Several hours in the salon and a lot of it spent waiting. Not at Tre Shades. Trina has me in and out of there in 2 to 2 and a half hours. I love my hair every single time. She talks to you about your hair, asks what you like and follows up to see how the previous style lasted for you. Shia, at the front desk, is also very helpful and always reminds me when a special is going on that I can benefit from. Did I mention I love it here.

“Victoria is absolutely the best stylist you could ever have for any occasion. She is so talented, and an absolute joy to work with. She did my hair and makeup and my mom's hair and makeup for my wedding. Throughout the entire process, she was just so fantastic to work with, from the very first email to the wedding day itself! Victoria was recommended to us by our photographer (Genevieve Leiper), and in addition to Victoria's incredible styling skills, it was a bonus that she worked so well with Genevieve to make the photos turn out even better. For background, neither my mom or myself typically wear a lot of makeup, and Victoria did a masterful job making us look and feel beautiful with minimal, natural-looking makeup. On the wedding day, Victoria also stayed with us throughout the photos (which we took before the ceremony) as we drove around to a few locations, and then changed my hair to an updo before the ceremony/reception. With a lunch reception, that meant starting hair and makeup just after 5 a.m., and the early start time did not phase her at all! When our timeline shifted a few weeks before the wedding day, she kindly agreed to arrive half an hour earlier than we had discussed, and she was so flexible and wonderful in the entire planning process and on the day of. While we were taking photos, she went above and beyond to help hold my bouquet during adjustments or fix my dress and veil. And I truly can't describe what an amazing job she did on our hair and makeup. She made me feel like an incredibly beautiful bride (and she made my mom feel like an absolutely gorgeous mother of the bride, too), and I am so grateful that she was my wedding day stylist. I can't possibly recommend her highly enough! She is a great person and a fantastic professional stylist, and you would be lucky to have her on your wedding day team of experts, or just to have her style you for another occasion!“

“I know EBC is reportedly closed but I've decided to review it anyway just in case she decides to reopen. I went to Ms. Paulette for YEARS! I just came across her business on Yelp because I was looking for a facialist and decided to see if she's still in Greenbelt. First of all, I have YET to find anyone that does a facial like her. She is the bomb. I don't know how old she is but her skin is FLAWLESS; that of a 30 something year old woman and I'm sure she's well into her 60s at the least. Her expertise is phenomenal and so is her customer service. I know she has moved her location from Largo to Greenbelt (I've been a client at both) and it bothers me that she has closed once again. She really is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to skincare. I'm thinking she just keeps getting the wrong employees or maybe she's hard to work for. If it's the latter, people usually say the real experts have super high expectations. Considering how great she is with skincare, high expectations is probably what I love about her. Ms. Paulette if you're reading this, please send me a message and tell me where you are. Our skin needs your hands and expertise! P.S. I didn't have any scheduling conflicts or non-shows from her. Not giving excuses but I'm thinking something must've happened considering the other two ladies reviews are not that far apart. If she shows up in another location, do yourself and your skin a favor and give her a chance.“

“I just moved to the area and was looking for something close to home. I stopped by and got a walk-in appointment which I was very fortunate due to timing. Though I never got her name, I assumed it was the owner through our conversations. She was very professional. I liked that she asked MANY questions and did a consultation before washing my hair. She gave recommendations on hair care that was specific to me but did not pressure me to buy products or anything like that. The salon only takes cash, the WiFi password was easily accessible, shop may need some minor updates (the parking is a little unclear but the whole area is like that) but I would certainly go back!“
