I started my natural hair journey about 2 years ago. Not having any idea what to do with it, I kept it braided and tied up fearing stopping into any beauty salon because of some having long wait time and lots of people and feeling judged for not knowing what to do with my hair when I'm coming there for your help anyway lmao. Karla was so very kind to fit me into her schedule at such a short notice. her studio is small, clean, soooooo PRETTY and intimate. All that made my first salon experience worth EVERYTHING! Even though my style was simple she made it gorgeous and also most importantly taught me how to take care of my own hair so that I'm on a good start to my healthy hair journey.
