This is a long overdue post about the great work Franco and his team at Louis Sebastian Contractors did for us. We moved in 2021 into a cape style house that was built in 1960. It had a lot of deferred maintenance issues that we needed to address -- one of which involved the fireplace and chimney. We decided to convert the fireplace from wood burning to a gas insert. This necessitated re-bricking the hearth so that we would have the proper non-combustible clearances. We needed to add some height and width. Franco and his team did a wonderful job repointing several portions of our brick exterior. They were efficient and thorough, making sure to repair every area they found with broken or missing mortar. The work was done very neatly, and everyone was friendly and easygoing throughout. Our house now looks much better as a result of their skilled masonry work, and just as important, we can see that the structure is stable and secure!
