Pinehurst came in to design a new patio, beds and drainage system that eliminated the problems we were having with grass that would not grow and areas of mud that our dog would dig up. They perfectly matched the new bluestone to the old, smaller patio and gave us an outdoor living space that we all enjoy!

Excellent selection and customer service. However, their retail sales tax computation seems to be incorrect. On 2 occasions after checking my receipts (paying with credit card on the first and cash on the second), the effective tax rate they use seems to be 6.25%, not 6%. Can they please explain why this is so?
Update: They are using the Massachusetts (MA) tax rate of 6.25% (as shown on my charge receipt), not Maryland (MD) at 6%.
