Project manager used me like a Friday night bar witch. Spent time visiting a site, heard some things that 'sounded good' and then never heard from them again. I have since found better ways to spend my Friday's.

Used HCS for a restaurant buildout in 2017-2018. Disorganized project management & poor communication; assigned project manager was pulled off the project 2/3 of the way through so HCS could save $$; HCS owner prone to Trumpesque hissyfits and frequent threats of lawsuits by his dad as a first recourse in discussions. I have never engaged in a more petty, childish vendor relationship than with HCS. Work by subs is fine, though very little willingness by HCS to go to bat for their customer when subs try to ream you on change order pricing. Of my 3 assigned superintendents through the project, they ranged from 'oppressively arrogant' to 'solid and offering the best they could within the circumstances'. HCS seems to have gained good momentum via early affiliation w/ Editlab, and they are certainly smooth talkers, but at least in my experience are too disorganized and -- as per example set at the top -- temperamentally unfit to offer real collaboration/partnership through the buildout process, as they so intently claim. Would not recommend.
