I've gone to Dr. Lohr for several years for chronic neck pain caused by compressed nerves. She does a great job of giving me a "tune up" every month or so to keep it under control. Every now and then it flares up more and she's able get it back to maintenance with just a couple of visits. I'd definitely recommend her.
Went to Dr. Lohr for a horrible weightlifting back injury. I was literally walking crooked with what felt like a shorter leg. She was very thorough with her diagnosis and treatment. Few weeks later and I was walking straight again. Truly grateful she was open on a Saturday too. Highly recommend.
My Naturopathic Doctor Dr. Grace Lohr after I told her I was refinishing a piece of furniture was exhausted and had fallen asleep in a chair with my arms up on the arm rests and my head had fallen forward for about 4 hours. OMG! The next morning I was "SCREAMING" in pain so it was off to the Shady Grove Hospital ER. I'm 67 and had not been in an ER before. The doctors gave me as little as they could to get me out the door and on my way home. The next day I went to see Dr. Lohr and her magic hands which are familiar to me as this was the second time I was in need of her assistance. This same thing happened about a year before. This time it was the 4th of July weekend and she could see I was in no shape to be without pain meds. You know you are in trouble when it hurts to breathe. My head seemed to weigh about 50 pounds. I took Dr. Lohr's advice and went to Care First to see if they could get me through the week end until she got back into town. While trying to be diligent about the range of motion exercises given to me by Dr Lohr, along with the icing of the affected area I returned to Dr. Lohr and was told I will need one more session for a clean bill of health. Can't ask for better than that. If you are afraid to see a chiropractor because you think they are going to yank your head and neck and drop your back from an adjustment table and rack em and crack em making sure you are tortured and even more hurt than when you arrived Dr. Lohr might not be the chiropractor for you. She is very gentle and will assist you every step of the way with compassion and the caring of an angel. Can you believe she accepts Medicare? Don't be afraid, give her a call you will be glad you did. If you are looking for me I'll be sanding and staining and painting somewhere in Rockville. Yours truly, Rockville Red
