“I have been procuring live plants and Christmas trees here for about 34 years! Kingsdene is a family tradition for us. My Dad stopped being in one place in 1996. Now my son and I can feel his presence when we come shopping for a fresh Christmas tree each year right after Thanksgiving. Then we keep its base in water until it comes inside to be a celebration of trees for Christmas.Typically, it stays soft and fragrant until the end of January, at which time I cut all the branches into 6-8 in pieces which I use to start fires all year. Also, I pack a cardboard box with the smaller pieces and loose needles and store it in the truck to freshen up the cab and remind me to smile.“
