This is long overdue, but I wanted to express and share my gratitude to John Reitz and the entire team of professionals at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home in Frederick Md. My mom passed away last month in Frederick. I am not from there nor do I live there, so I was unfamiliar with the area. This made religious as well as funeral planning more nerve-racking. I reached out to John - he understood my circumstances, and in a calm, understanding voice told me he would take care of my mom; from the hospice to the funeral home. Keeney Basford could not have been more kind or professional with a comfortable air at a difficult time. This is a family owned business which takes pride in providing outstanding service. My family has trusted Keeney Basford for many generations and will continue to do the same.
I'm so happy we chose Keeney and Basford to take care of my dad and his services. From the very beginning they were attentive, kind, and compassionate, and put our minds at ease after the shock of losing our dad. Steve walked us through everything, answered every question we had and took great care of our family. He truly went above and beyond. David stepped in to lead the funeral service in a beautiful way that honored my dad. It was the hardest week of our lives but there was some comfort from knowing we had these people to help.
