We had some hail damage to our roof and siding a few months ago. Brian came by our house to inspect the damage. He handled all the correspondence with our insurance company and was even present when the insurance adjuster came to inspect the house. We had FCC replace our damaged roof, siding and gutters, including gutter guards. Brian got everything covered by our insurance company and the only thing we had to pay was our deductible. In addition, we had FCC cap all the wood on the exterior of our house, so it will never need to be painted again, and replaced our shutters too. All the subcontractors did a great job. They arrived when promised, finished the job on time and cleaned up really well when they were finished. Brian was great to work with, came to our house many times, including every day work was done, and answered our phone calls and emails quickly. It was a big job and Brian was patient and helpful answering all of our questions and concerns. Thanks for everything, Brian. We could not be any happier with how great our house looks now.
Enlisting the services of First Call Contractors (FCC) was one of the best decisions we made, year-to-date. We called FCC to request an estimate because there were a few shingles missing from the edge of our roof. Mr. Edwards (Brian) answered our call immediately. We made an appointment and Brian showed up on time and inspected the damage. While on the roof, he saw that there was extensive damage from a hailstorm and recommended we contact our insurance company and make a claim. He also noticed hail damage to the aluminum siding that was not obvious to us. Mr. Edwards offered to return and meet with the insurance representative, when they came to inspect the roof. The insurance rep concurred that there was hail damage, not only to the roof but also to the siding, as Brian had noted. When we received the insurance company’s estimate of the cost to replace both, we sent it to Brian. He reviewed it and discussed the estimate’s shortcomings with us. Brian is familiar with building codes; we are not. (The insurance company’s estimate omitted some important and costly items, including a vapor barrier and insulation.) We asked Brian and FCC to help us with the insurance company. FCC did an outstanding job both negotiating with the insurance company and with installing the roof and siding. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed quickly and professionally. We are 100% happy with our new siding and roof. As I said earlier, enlisting the services of FCC was the best decision we could have made.
