“I have been going to Ms. Claudette for some time now and I always appreciate how professional she is, the fact that her prices are affordable, and the studio is always nice and clean. She always works diligently alongside another braider to get my hair done in just 4 hours (keep in mind, I have alot of hair :-). We laugh, watch movies, and listen to music. I am even able to work remotely from her shop when my appointment falls on a weekday midday. And everytime I go to Ms. Claudette, I always end up meeting people who are so kind and welcoming. If you are in the DMV area, I recommend that you go to Ms. Claudette. She is the best.“

“I’ve been going to Way-Z for about 3 years every style has been flawless. I’m natural and way-z had kept my hair healthy and happy. My hair usually doesn’t hold heat but when she does my press it lasts for weeks. I’ve gone to her for trim, 2-strand twist, silk press, moisture treatment and most recently a full sew-in, I have yet to be disappointed. As an added bonus when time is not on my side and I’ve had to have my toddler tag along she has always been friendly with her. “Had a wonderful first experience at Visions Braid Bar. I did a lot of research and reviews before trying this place and I'm glad I did because the girlies weren't lying, this place is wonderful. I got large knotless braids in under 3 hours (not including the wash and dry which was about 45 minutes). Binta, the owner, did a thorough consultation of exactly what I wanted and we came up with a plan with the stylist, Vicky. My braids exceeded expectations. I'll for sure be back! And I was hesitant because my last few braiding experiences in DC have been okay, but I ended up redoing a bunch of braids because they didn't look how I hoped--that will not be the case here. “I love coming here to get my hair washed, deep conditioned, blow dried, and styled. I also received a few color treatments as well over the years. I tried to replicate their service on myself at home, but it’s just not the same result. The facilities are really nice and so are the staff. I love that I don’t have to travel so far to get top notch service. An added bonus is that there’s ample parking, vending machines, and a good variety of food places surrounding this location so you can take a break to get some grub while you get your hair done.“

They charged me more than $70 for a plain men’s haircut. The screen out front isn’t always up to date; go walk up to the barber like a normal person.
