“Let's talk about getting a new roof - one afternoon two young men (not from Conrey Construction) came to our door and indicated they were giving free estimates for roofing. Well we have been in our home for 20 years and knew a new roof was in our near future and was needed. We were told that our roof was "complicated" and that would support the high price of having the work done. The afternoon the salesmen came out we were given a very nice presentation with a LOT of options - and a lot of features - and a lot of pressure. There was a price if we signed now, a price if we signed by 5 pm - a price for next week and a much higher price if we waited. We talked with a neighbor who had work done by this company and she said that they were very good to work with and had returned to fix TWO things that had gone wrong. So I knew that was NOT who we were going to work with. The other company (that had been recommended by several people I worked with) I called was Conrey Construction - we were prepared for another sales pitch and pressure to decide but called to schedule an estimate appointment. We were very pleasantly surprised. Mr. Conrey came to meet with us in the early evening - showed us the products they carry and would recommend, provided information about all of his references, licenses and customer reviews. He showed us a product with an awesome guarantee and gave us many colors to choose from. We asked about the price (as a roof is an investment) and were given an estimate. After an inspection and explaining it was based on what could be seen - it was recommended that we needed a new roof. When we asked "how long" the estimate was good for - we were told to take our time and make a good decision. We were both very pleased that ALL of our questions were answered, there was ZERO pressure to make a quick decision and Mr. Conrey was gracious and courteous. The price was much more reasonable for the level of roofing we selected. We decided to work with Conrey Construction. Mr. Skip Conrey was very patient while we picked out a color (and then another one and then another one) and once we decided he worked with us to schedule the work. We were told who to expect, given an estimate as to how long the work would take and given an approximate date. Once our supplies came in (exactly on time) we scheduled the job - the workers called prior to arriving, arrived on time, introduced themselves and immediately covered up the flower beds in front of our home so as not to damage anything. The crew worked hard and in the late afternoon knocked on our door. I was sure they were letting us know that they were leaving for the day but explained if it was alright with us they would like to work another couple of hours! The next day we had the same experience - the workers called, showed up on time and worked throughout the day until the job was done. We expected it would take two to three days - and it was done in two days. The crew did a careful inspection to make sure there was no debris or nails on the ground and cleaned up as well as could be expected. That evening Mr. Conrey showed up - he reviewed the work, and talked with us and made sure we were pleased with the work and finished product. A few days later we received another follow up to make sure all was still in order and received a Thank You card for working with Conrey Construction. I work in customer service and know that all too often people will immediately point out any issue or let you know if they are not happy with something. I believe that you should expect to get a quality product and quality service - but often people do not take the time to let you know that you have done an awesome job and they have had a really good experience. We would like others to know that we found Conrey Construction to be a quality company and we had a really positive experience working with them. “I would highly recommend American Home Care ,LLC for all of the services that they offer. Integrity, unquestionable and the customer and their needs are always the priority. Johns company installed my roof some 16yrs ago, which is still in great condedition. Due to a TV Dish being placed on my roof, it created a leak over a period of time, thus damaging my addict and bedroom ceiling. “Long Story Short: The experience from beginning w/ estimate, to the end of project, was a stellar experience! Will be my first call for future siding work.

Long Story Long: I needed trim replaced due to rot, and every company (5) would only give me an estimate for an entire trim/siding replacement (w/out paint included!). Jerry's didn't know this, yet told me the siding was perfectly fine and I just needed the trim replaced. Check.

They scheduled the project and showed up to complete even though I was out of town, which I appreciated. Cleaned up the work site and only minimal garden damage occurred which is impressive with a 3-story situation. Check Check.

When I reviewed the work, lines were clean, caulking around windows spot-on, AND they painted the trim?! Mind you, 5 companies told me this wasn't included, and Jerry's just did it without mentioning AND their estimate was significantly more affordable than every other estimate. Check mate.

I moved here from rural areas where contractors/home services valued their work and gave common-sense pricing, and have struggled to find that in companies in the DMV area. Jerry's is 1 of 2 companies I've found here that reflects those principles. Great job. They will be my first call when that siding needs a change ;)“

I recommend you hire them without reservation. “I had to come to this location after work this evening for an item that said online they had a quantity of 4 left (My surrounding local Home Depot's had none) A young lady name Sabrina was nearby to help and I asked if she could check where the others may be because the 1 that was left, the box was opened. She checked in her system and in the aisle, and could not locate the others then said "Let me plug it up, check it out and make sure it's ok". We proceeded to find an outlet and the item was in good, working condition. Then she noticed a minuscule crack on the base of the item but told me how it can be fixed and gave me a % off of it. Because I drove 40 mins from my local Home Depot, I was fine with making the purchase and had a gift card to use. I had to Yelp about Sabrina because I feel like she went above & beyond to help me as they paged her a couple of times over the intercom for assistance in another dept, but she spent that time with me.
