I scheduled an appointment with this salon when I was shopping for a new stylist after mine moved. I explained in the initial call what I wanted and they said they could accommodate me. Two months later I went to my first appointment with them. The stylist who helped me made sure to tell me how busy they were and that it was an inconvenience to take new clients. Then they went on to tell me they don't generally do bright colors and that red would be my only option. They pretty much made me feel guilty for being there and that I was not their kind of client. Love the salon!!! Been going there for years. And love that they are very conscious about using less harsh chemical. My stylist is amazing. And love that it's a locally run little place tucked away in Ellicott City.

If you have curly hair you NEED to see Juliet. I have 2C-3A curls and I've spent YEARS trying to figure out how to manage them. After a cut from Juliet, I feel like my curls can finally spring up to their potential. Juliet started out with a dry cut and she was so amazing answering all of my questions (which I had a lot). She was super knowledgeable as to the type of products that my hair could handle, and even let me know that my current shampoo/conditioner was probably too heavy for me which is why my curls were a bit lackluster. After the dry cut we moved onto the wash and some final snipping finishes. I'll probably never be able to recreate the final look that she achieved after diffusing but I'll make it my personal mission to get as close to it as possible. Long story short, if you want someone who's a solid conversationalist, gives great curly advice, and listens to the type of haircut you want I recommend Juliet!
