Hicks funeral home made a very hard time for our family go easier and smoother when we had to bury our son. We were in shock and numb and they walked us through everything with care and were there for us every time we had a question.

I highly recommend Hick's Home For Funerals in Elkton, Maryland.When they say they're "committed to serve you and your family with dignity and respect" they mean it. And today, when a lot of businesses and a lot of people say a lot of things and don't mean it, that in itself provides a comfort.Don, Kristen and the entire staff there work as a team. They are professional, caring and understanding. They listen to what you want and what you don't want. They explain the details and the options that are available.I highly recommend them because they did all of the above for my family and I when we were in need of their services.

Professional, honest, EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Everything in their power was done correctly, and very timely. Had absolutely zero issues with the service. Don personally also brought my mother and her casket 2 hours north (for her burial) for a more than reasonable price. I would HIGHLY suggest if you're in the area; Doing business with Hicks Home For Funerals will not be a bad decision. They made an extremely hard process, very easy. Don is full of information and VERY helpful. Great personality and very transparent about everything.
