“We have used Affordable Solutions LLC on several occasions. Their prices are reasonable and their work is excellent. We plan on using them in the future for our repair and project needsThe first time we hired Affordable Solutions was to repair our front door. It was severely weathered and they made it look new after a couple days work without removing it. They charged us 1/3rd of the other companies that gave us quotes. We also have had them repair other doors, fix rotted stairs, replace broken deck boards, replace handrails, stain and paint, as well as multiple repairs. Each time their workers came when they said they would, did the work efficiently and did a great job.One very important point: we have had several storm-related repairs lately. Our insurance provided contractor ghosted us, several others did not return our call, many thought our needs were not substantial/lucrative enough. “We contracted with 7th State Builders for the replacement of two hinged patio doors on our home. Nick was pleasant and efficient with working up an estimate for our job. I asked that he just give me his best price up front which he did for us. We agreed to the terms and were connected with Mike to go over the project and coordinate the work. We decided to make a few changes to include the purchase of the doors themselves. Mike used his knowledge and experience to identify and obtain some awesome doors and helped us with modifications to the contract. Nahun, Hugo and Boris showed up on time and showed care for our home while attacking the project. Nahun and Hugo were the installation crew and they did a great job of removing the old doors, removing some rotted wood and rebuilding the rough in door frame before installing the new doors. I think the effort exceeded the expectations. Their can do attitude and effort got it done. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and knowledgeable. Communications went well and I am very happy with the final product. I would recommend 7th State without hesitation.“

“We called Superior because the wife went in the walk-in closet and the floor was wet while cleaning it water dripped on the head. So we had a leak in the roof the next morning we started calling roofers and Superior was the first to answer the phone. Bill came over and looked at the roof and told us we needed a new roof, we told home to give us a price and we would send it to the insurance. I contacted the insurance company they sent a guy out he went up on the roof and did his thing said he would write up his report and get back to us. Later that afternoon we received a call and insurance was paying for the roof there was lots of wind damage. We called bill and he came over we signed a contract, it was over a week before he started he called said a crew would be here in the am to put the new roof on. The next morning they were here at 0730 placed tarps around the whole house then tore all the old shingles and paper off replaced with new synthetic underlayment and Lifetime shingle. At 1830 they were finished with the roof they came back the next morning to clean up. Hopefully they got most all the nails out of the yard. They did have to take the dish off the roof after taking the single off and then a few minutes after they put it they replaced it I had the same signal I thought I was going to have to have the dish people come and realign it but all was good. “So wonderful that a large company has time for the Calvert community and horse loving families. There is no graceful way to bury a pony, but they made it bearable and incident free. They came out the very next morning for my family, myself and for Max. Short of saying a prayer they went above and beyond.
