Don's Barbershop

Don's Barbershop is a great place to go for a really great haircut. Don is a very good barber and takes pride in his work as well as being professional and friendly. Usually, you can go there and also meet other friendly folks from around town. Waiting time depends on how many customers are ahead of you but Don cuts hair in a timely manner and ensures that you receive the haircut you had expected.

Don has been doing this since the 40's, and has been running follicles and hard parts since. This is his second location in my lifetime, thanks to the previous building being demolished. This location is right off a dual highway across the street from a Sheetz, with street parking and if desperation happens- you can always park in the Sheetz lot. I usually get the same haircut I have since 2009, #2 on the sides and scissors to the top with a slight fade in between. I think what sets Don apart is the conversation. Don is fresh with the town gossip, history of the area, and NEVER ceases to ask you about your day, what you've been up to lately or "what you doing today?" Truly a city staple and a part of the area that adds to the overall tapestry that makes it home.
