The vet tech Michael was friendly and gentle with Abby as well. I have never in 12 years had a bad experience at Veterinary Housecall Service. Keep up the great work!!“

Dr. Buchanan is an angel - we are trying to stick with her only because my geriatric kitty (17.5yo) is starting to show signs of his age and we need that continuity of care now. But prior to this I have been willing to see any doctor. Again, we have been coming here for almost 40 years I've never had a doc i didn't like or didn't trust.

“I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Anthony Lisankis and his team. My senior dog’s eye was removed because of a tumor mass. When I called and explained to his staff about my concern for my Chessie’s eye we were seen that same day and because it was necessary to be expedient his eye was removed the following week. Dr. Lisankis is so kind and caring, keeping me up to date every step of the way and so helpful with all the scans and prep needed to expedite this surgery.
I am so thankful to him and everyone at Annapolis Eyecare for everything they have done to make this surgery possible for us. Chessie is healing extremely well and adjusting better than I could have ever hoped for. Thanks to all of you. We are so grateful!“

“Dr. Chaney did more than wonderful job with Stormy's spay. The closure of the incision was so well done if not for the area being shaved I would have never found it. Stormy had no down time after returning home and she did not require the use of a cone or surgical garment. Dr. Reed is also more than wonderful for Stormy and Stilly's non-surgical visits. He was gentle, understanding, and informative with their exams, shots, and even did the nail trims himself. I have never felt rushed by either of these veterinarians or that my opinions and concerns do not matter because they take the time to listen to their patient's caregivers. Please note this is a smaller practice and although they go above and beyond to be accommodating if you are not proactive in scheduling appointments ahead of time this may not be the best choice.“

“My Khaos had been very sick for awhile, I was dreading having to put him down and thought he would've gotten better... he did not. I caved and made an appointment with Severn River Animal Hospital. I wanted honesty, not a place that would make empty promises and take my money. After a brief exam, I was given 2 options; euthanasia or try somethings that didn't guarantee him living for a long period of time. I said i just want him to be at peace and not sick anymore. I thank them for their honesty and allowing me to spend time with my boy before and after the process. This was a first for me. I had him cremated and received his remains by the end of the week. Checked my mailbox and the entire team sent me a card. I'm grateful I found this place and will be using them for my other doggos.“

“Updating this review. The staff and management reached out. As mentioned before I was late, but upset due to the inflexible nature of the situation. They have been understanding and discussed their challenges in detail. I have (probably exhaustively) explained my issues with some of their procedures. But I am happy with the adjustments made and appreciate the staffs efforts. So am adjusting my review.

Been a client of this vet office for nearly 30 years. Since the new leadership has taken over, the personal care has been dramatically reduced. After trying to get a allergy treatment for my dog for months and trying to get them to order it. On the day to pick up the meds and be instructed on the meds use I was 16 minutes late due to traffic. Was called as I parked that they canceled my appointment and I shouldn't bother walking in.“

“Took my Golden Retriever in for microchipping. Want to make sure that if he ever runs off I'm able to get them back. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Also gave him a thorough check out and he is ready to go.“

As a new puppy owner a year and a half ago, they helped me learn all the right things I should be giving/ doing for my dogs wellness and health! This place is also immaculate, has ample parking, and in a great area/building. I 10/10 would recommend this place to ANYONE looking for quality, quick, effective veterinary care.
