Doctors Community Practices at Crofton

This is out of the norm for me to post a review for any business, but I believe this is a must due to this practice's unprofessionalism. My family has been with this practice for over a decade and a half; within the last couple of years, it seems to have plummet. Initially, it was so hard getting ahold of the office via phone that we had to drive to the office to speak to someone. Recently, my daughter had blood work completed and the nurse practitioner (Ms. Maire Yasin) coded one of the tests incorrectly. Ms. Maire Yasin did not know the codes had changed sometime last year; therefore, this erroneous coding generated a charge. My daughter, being young and naïve in this process, but responsible paid the bill she received. Again, we had to call this office 10+ times; some calls were answered with a response that Ms. Marie Yasin would call us back, it has been several months with not one return call. We even dropped off the bill showing the charge, as the office requested and additionally reached out to the doctor for a response and still no response. Such a shame for this business!

I normally don't post reviews because most often it doesn't help however I bit the bullet and did this one. I went to see a Dr. Best here at this practice. She looked at me like I was in another time zone when explaining to her regarding my nail fungus. Not once did she tell me whether she would or could give me any antifungal medicine to cure whatever fingernail fungus I had. Not once did she even attempt to take a speciman so that she could accurately diagnose the problem. I knew right then I would never ever go back to this practice. I wish I could call my insurance company to inform them not to pay her anything. Please don't waste your time with her. Find another dermatologist. I learned...smh.

I'm reading the reviews and I don't get it, they are fine in my opinion. Daughter started, then wife joined. After being told to drink hot tea by I believe 'Tessa' at Chase Brexton as well as their '2 problem only' policy, I took my wife's opinion to switch. While I've just begun attending this doctor, Heather Newhard is wonderful. I had gone to my old bs doctor so long that there was surprise, she was nice, comforting, KNOWLEDGEABLE, and I got my chest infection appropriately diagnosed after 3 weeks(zpac, not tea or cephalaxin, thanks Tessa) and now I can actually breath!!Honestly do not know about the call issues, I called with barely a breath(think Stevie from Malcolm...read full review
