About Chiseled Life Gym
Chiseled Life Gym is a 24-hour fitness center in Columbia, Maryland, offering a wide range of services and amenities, including personal training, group fitness, physical therapy, and more. The gym features an incredible variety of equipment, including hard-to-find machines like the belt squat and the rogue reverse hyper rh-2. Members appreciate the high-quality arsenal equipment, which stands out compared to other commercial gyms. While some clients have expressed concerns about the culture and atmosphere, particularly the allowance of recording and tripods that can lead to a crowded and distracting environment during peak hours, many have found the gym to be friendly and welcoming. The management team and staff are noted for their commitment to improvement, including recent renovations and a deep clean of the space. However, there have been reports of cleanliness issues in the men's bathroom and locker rooms that may be too small for the gym's large clientele. Despite these drawbacks, Chiseled Life Gym remains a popular choice for fitness enthusiasts in the area due to its convenient hours, friendly environment, and a comprehensive range of services. Members express a strong loyalty to the gym, often traveling long distances just to train there.
Love the place, been going for over a year at this point. Friendly staff. Clean facility. Tons of machines and free weights. People do film themselves a lot but the people that I've encountered are really respectful about. Can't recommend this place enough.

As Rocky and I continued to work together, my goals shifted from Olympic Lifting to Powerlifting and I asked for some help to get ready for an upcoming CrossFit competition in the middle of my Powerlifting training.

I really want to give this gym five stars. I really do. The vast majority of the time, it is great. The machines are very nice and generally well maintained, repairs happen quickly, the staff is overall fairly nice based off the handful of interactions I’ve had with them. That being said, the clientele of this gym is horrendous, and the gym staff rarely enforce the gym policies. Tripods everywhere, people posing in the middle of the gym floor, weights not being sorted or put back entirely, and machines are rarely ever wiped off after use. When machines do go down, it’s generally due to misuse by gym members, and people disregard all signs regarding proper use of equipment....read full review
