“I have been ordering from A-1 in Oxford for years now. This is truly a fantastic company with great staff, great pricing, and high-quality materials.
They always have what I need, their delivery time is always quick, and everyone at this company that I've interacted with his has been so helpful. When I call, the staff is always great with me asking a ton of (sometimes silly) questions about what they carry, their pricing, and sizes/amounts.
The delivery drivers themselves are so good too! They've been excellent about dropping exactly where I want, even when nobody is home. They're always super careful navigating our driveway (and some admittedly overgrown trees). This last delivery, I forgot to move my tarp to where I wanted it. Not only was the driver kind enough to wait for me to grab my tarp, he even helped me get it in position! He dropped my order with great care to keep space between the two different types of stone I got.
When I used dyed mulch in my gardens, their black mulch was my favorite. I'm a big fan of their gardener's soil mix, I've used it in all of my beds and will continue to do so, my plants love it! They're also my go-to supplier for bulk river rocks. The variety in color and sizing makes them a perfect choice for so many projects.
Photos are of my last order, one ton of 3/8 inch Salmon Stone, the larger stones are 2-4 inch Salmon stone mixed with 3-7 inch Delaware River Rock. They were kind enough to accommodate a request for a half ton of each of the larger stones mixed together!“
