“My daughter and I needed several services as we were attending a wedding from out of town. We needed a hair cut blow dries and styling the ratings for this salon are not deserved and I admit I was nervous to use them because of yelp. They reassured us that they could do what we requested. Her hair was perfect as was my makeup and the styling and makeup . We were taken on time and our service was done quickly but with care . “where do I begin!? my birthday spa day experience was everything that I could've hoped for. 5 years coming. 5 hours of service. 55th Birthday loading. my universe aligned for this very moment. started with a massage by Dain. those arm and leg pulls were everything! I have a neck sensitivity and he had me so relaxed that I didn't flinch once! he even massaged my ears! that was a pleasant surprise. I would've expected that during the facial, if at all. massage was followed by a facial by Markiah. she throughly cleansed my face and offered some products to use for my skin type. then she massaged, moisturized, and gave my hands a heat treatment. that was yet another unexpected surprise. after each service i was greeted with some water by my attendants waiting outside the rooms. everything was so clean and organized. Ciara had set aside an hour for me to enjoy lunch. I requested sushi (my favorite). it was ordered and delivered to the spa. Ciara set me up comfortably in the serenity room. I enjoyed my meal in a peaceful environment while reading and reflecting. after lunch I had a manicure and pedicure by Nila. she song happy birthday to me in Phillipino and gave me her Nutty Buddy ice cream cone to enjoy during my pedicure. it was a very nostalgic moment for me. growing up in the 70s, eating one of my memorable childhood treats. the salt scrub, paraffin wax, and hot towels added to the experience. the restrooms were clean. the locker room was very inviting. offering showers, toiletries, robes, and slides/shoes. like real shoes! lol. I didn't explore the whole facility but saw various products display areas. I mostly floated from room to room. lol. and at the end of my services. (I could've hung out til closing. they have blankets and pillows on the couches in the serenity room.) Ciara gave me a gift bag (I can't wait to open it). it made me realize the importance of taking the time for self care and I plan to make a spa visit part of a monthly ritual. the facility is BEAUTIFULLY decorated and inviting. if I was to have one "con" it would be the inner rooms decor. its basically bed or chair and service supplies. some plants, stones, or something of that nature would've definitely added to the inviting environment. but thats something very slight as 99% of the times your eyes are closed!!! lol. The entire staff treated us like royalty, from the moment we walked in through the doors.

There was a tall female host who greeted us warmly and seated us promptly. I believe her name was Lila or Lilly.
Our waitress, Senit, was great and made excellent recommendations for try.
After dinner, my husband wanted to college football so we sat the bar and we were treated to some crafted delicious cocktails by the bartender Teddy.

When you go, ask for Tonyce. Tonyce is amazing! I am a regular runner so muscle aches and tension is usually the norm for me, however, each time I visit and Tonyce works with me, I leave feeling like a bird that can fly! Tonyce is so experience, you won't be disappointed.

Another pro is that I can always get an appointment quickly. I go there once a month and I am usually able to get Tonyce especially when I schedule in advance.

I like the Sunna and steam room although I mostly use the steam room before the massage so that the oils penetrate and facilitate to relax my muscles.

The lounge is beautiful, however, if you plan to relax at the lounge, make sure to go early, otherwise, your appointment time could be compromised for lateness. You can also use the lounge after your service.

I used to go to the Mandarin Oriental Spa which is now called Salamander, I have also visited the Spa at W Hotel DC. I started visiting The Willard after Salamander closed and now I can say that The Willard Spa is my favorite.“

“I just had a massage with Kaye and it was the best massage I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot). She is calm and quiet but is so talented. She asked the right questions about what I needed and then went to work. Her style is similar to a traditional Swedish massage but she is really strong so she gets to much deeper layers of muscles. Despite being so strong the massage never hurts. It’s just bliss and my body feels so much better after. I was even falling asleep during it. The oils are nice and the atmosphere is really nice. I wish I lived here so I could get a massage every week. Do yourself a favor and get a massage from Kaye. She really has a gift for it and you will be thankful.“

Meeting a new stylist for the first time can be an amazing experience… or a total nightmare. Yesterday, I had the amazing kind. From the moment I stepped into her beautifully decorated salon, I was treated with respect and dignity. She listened to my concerns (my edges were thinning and my hair was dry), and we scheduled exactly what I needed.

When she came outside to greet me, I instantly felt my anxiety melt away. And yes—they say how a stylist wears her own hair is a sign of the service you’ll get. Well, hers was flawless. She’s professional, knowledgeable, and knows exactly what she’s doing. She gave me hair care tips, a gorgeous cut and color, and an energy that’s contagious.

Let’s just say—when I left, I wanted to do a backflip (but I value my hair and my back too much to try it). My TWA is together. I now have a stylist I can trust, and that means everything.

If you want someone who listens, cares, and will make you feel like royalty, go see her. You’ll walk in like a princess and leave out like a queen. I promise you—your hair, your confidence, and your spirit will thank you.
