We had a great experience with John and Sadie at Farmstead Kennels. We love our two Boston Terriers. They are so healthy and have excellent temperaments. Would recommend Farmstead Kennels to everyone!
We are so happy with our experience at Farmstead! There was open communication from day one and walked us through everything we needed to know about raising a great and healthy golden pup! Our sweet almost 6 month golden girl Zoey is the perfect addition to our family. She is lovable, fun, healthy, and so so smart (I would say valedictorian of puppy kindergarten but I may be bias 😊)! Highly recommend this reputable breeder!
I’ve contemplated leaving my experience with this breeder for years, but todays the day. 4 years ago my parents and I adopted 2 husky puppies. They were the only 2, a brother and a sister. My girl was my dream dog, I had waited years to get her. We trusted them. A year later she was dead. She had a congenital birth defect in her brain that caused extreme seizures and lots of other health issues called hydrocephalus. I spent $15,000 on emergency vet visits, a neurologist, medications, high quality food etc. in 4 months. She went into liver failure from the medications to stop the seizures and I had to let her go. She was 1 year old. They did not help pay for ANY of the bills, they refunded me and basically told me to go f myself. I was without my best friend, severely in debt at 21 years old, and heartbroken. A few months down the road her brother started having seizures too. We were told it was epilepsy. Again the breeders basically told us 🤷🏻♀️. We managed the seizures for 3 more years but today he died in the trunk of my parents car while they were rushing him to the vet for an ongoing seizure. We expected to love and spoil these dogs for the next 10-13 years. Not 1 and 4 years. I am heartbroken and I do not believe these breeders to be ethical or responsible and I would NEVER recommend getting any kind of dog from them. Unless you’re looking for short term companionship. Thanks for the heartbreak.
