I may be missing some details but from what I saw, there was a pre-treatment, mechanical agitation followed by hot steam and wetvac for lack of a better word. I was impressed by how clean the carpets looked when done. I was expecting some lingering stains but nope, he got em. TNT was a little more expensive than Stanly steamer but much better.
