Families praise the instructors, convenient location, and clean environment. Many appreciate the professional and punctual staff, with some noting instructors have been with the company for many years. Kicks Karate is highly recommended as a great way for kids to learn martial arts.
Our family loves this place!!! My 7 year old absolutely loves her karate classes. The instructors are amazing and deliver the perfect balance of fun and discipline. I love that they treat all the students fairly and equally, regardless of gender, and there is great representation of female teachers too. Their class schedule allows for flexibility and it's been easy to get to class regularly. There are great events through the year and my kiddo has loved preparing for her belt tests. We feel so fortunate to be so close to this place and continue to look forward to making it a part of our routine for years to come.
My relationship with Kicks Karate is not that of a student, but rather of someone with a business relationship with the school's leadership. My interactions with the leaders--Lana and John--have been great. They are professional, responsive, innovative, kind, and extremely passionate about providing their students with the best experience and tools. They are also great martial artists, of course! Based on our professional relationship, as well as my interactions with the staff and seeing the Kicks Karate schools, I know they care deeply for their students and the Kicks Karate experience. I would recommend them to anyone looking for martial arts instruction in Maryland and the DC area.
