About a year and a few visits later, I think I'm ready to breathe out and call Hosaka Dental my new dentist! Dr. Cassis is very professional and also approachable. I appreciate her straightforward attitude and that she cites research when answering my questions. It depends a bit on the hygienist, but so far I've yet to experience any egregiously pushy salespeople for extra treatments. The staff at reception are friendly and don't act offended when you ask to confirm dental benefits and cost, as I've experienced at other practices. The entire practice overall is friendly and energetic, which again is a nice change compared to many other dental offices I've been to. The building is on the institutional-side and a little dated, but it's clean and functional. It's an easy-to-find location that's close to the Friendship Heights metro.“

“I went in for a tooth extraction nervously after not going to the dentist in about 10 years. They made the process very easy, as all the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and got me in for a follow up visit for the extraction only a few days after the initial consultation. They were mindful of any pain I was experiencing during the operation and made sure I didnt feel anything before they proceeded. The doctor and her assistant were very professional and accommodating.

“Dr. Chris was incredibly kind and took his time with me, unlike other dentists that just run out after just asking you to open and close your mouth quickly after the hygienist is done. Dr. Chris is professional, personable, and clearly explained everything to me—thoroughly! He reviewed my X-Rays, he took time to discuss with me some of my concerns. I’m certainly happy to have found such a great dentist.

Hannah, the hygienist, was just absolutely nice and did a spectacular job. She took her time with me, and it made me feel great that she did such a through job. Made me think I haven’t had a good cleaning in years, because she did that well!

Unfortunately I don’t remember the receptionist’s name, but she was absolutely kind and accommodating. She quickly found an appointment that worked for me and my busy work schedule!

She has been a wonderful asset to me and my family and after today with pulling Sarah Charlotte Johnson tooth, we have nothing but wonderful things to say about her and how she went far and beyond the call of duty to make sure her Mom had no more anxiety.
