We just finished remodeling our kitchen and are so thankful that we decided to have it done by Jordan Weed and Kitchen and Bath Studios. Jordan transformed our small, poorly designed 1970s kitchen into a modern, light-filled space that is double the size of the original kitchen (we removed a wall) and is both incredibly functional and stunningly beautiful. The result far exceeded our expectations. From start to finish the experience was wonderful, and much less stressful than we expected. Jordan listened carefully to our ideas, and created a design that perfectly matched the look and style we wanted. He has an extremely strong understanding of kitchen design and a great eye for detail. He directed us to some beautiful cabinets and drawer pulls, as well as the right countertop and tile backsplash. Plus, his recommendation of a general contractor to execute the renovation was right on the mark. This is the second time we have used Kitchen and Bath Studios for a kitchen renovation. When we renovate our bathrooms, we know where we are going.

We love Dr. Brown, he is the kindest most compassionate doctor! After significant weight loss, my daughter was left with a good amount of loose skin that was negatively affecting her self confidence. We saw Dr. Brown for a consultation and he totally got it, making my daughter feel comfortable right away and guiding her through the process with a conservative yet appropriate approach to reach her body aesthetic goals. I came to see May Kesler when I was having shoulder pain and mobility issues. I had an old rotator cuff injury that was coming back to haunt me. May was very thorough in examining me and determining where the problem was. She clearly has an in depth knowledge of facia/tissue/muscle/bone connections and many years of experience. She performed a myofascial massage that returned my shoulder mobility and got rid of my pain. She also gave me some exercises to do on my own. I highly recommend her massage and physical therapy. It was truly transformative in my case.

Our family loves Brighton Gardens at Friendship Heights! There is a warm and caring atmosphere that permeates every aspect of being there. The staff genuinely care for the welfare of the residents. The food is really good! The upkeep of shared spaces and apartments is immaculate. There are myriad activities daily, weekly, seasonly, and on holidays. Outings are frequent - neighborhood walks, museums, theater. You might also walk in on a Saturday afternoon and hear a professional opera singer entertaining in the main lobby or a group of students performing a recital. We were delighted to receive a video of our aunt dancing! It's definitely not the kind of place where residents are left to waste away in front of a tv all day. Our family visits our aunt pretty much every week so we get a good sense of how she's doing. It is evident to us that her physical, emotional, and cognitive wellbeing are valued and attended to. We feel very fortunate that we found this wonderful place. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the entire staff of Brighton Gardens. We are so so grateful to you all!

First time to shop here. Gary is in a small section of the pharmacy. For such a tiny amount of square footage, he has a nice selection of tumbled stones for a good price. He will even work with you to co.e to a price you both can agree on. He has a geology background. He knows how the rocks form, what .minerals are in a rock to give it the colors, as well as, what stones offer healing. I will definitely go back!

I had chronic pain in most of my body, headaches, and severe dizziness. After months of tests and some PT, I was faced with a diagnosis of a lifetime of chronic pain regulated by medication and very limited ability to do sport. After I started working with Bill Amos I managed to get to a point where I was pain free and able to run and ski again. And I now also have the tools to stay that way. Bill has a tremendous wealth of knowledge, breadth of techniques, and insights. I can't recommend him enough.

I came back to Mr. Gross because he helped my son with his divorce a while ago. Mr. Gross is knowledgeable and I feel like he respects my intelligence. He hears as well as listens. I feel he understands the situation. While he has vast knowledge, he hones done the law specific to my case. I feel confident about what will take place with my son's property should he not write a will. I am grateful for Mr. Gross' expertise and character.

This was my first encounter with the department and I was apprehensive ; I am elderly (87) and have digestive problems that bother me and seriously detract from the quality of life. The doctor came in, asked the usual questions and the proceeded to integrate these into my MedStar file in a highly competent, professional fashion. At the end of the session, I had the very strong feeling that he understood what the issues were, where the gaps in critical data were and made arrangements to fill these gaps ( CatScan needed). The conclusion was an excellent summary of his understanding and an agreement to meet following the additional data gathering process at which time, the next steps will be discussed. It was a classic example of the scientific process in action and I greatly appreciated the transparency in this process.
I continue very pleased by my weekly sessions with Julia Novak as I continue to work on range of motion and pain mitigation for a pinched nerve condition. We have worked together now for over two months and I have felt real progress. The exercises she has designed for me at the rehab center and at home are well tailored to my needs. Our rapport is excellent.

I tried out Hosaka Dental after an extensive amount of time researching reviews (I've had bad experiences with past dentists). About a year and a few visits later, I think I'm ready to breathe out and call Hosaka Dental my new dentist! Dr. Cassis is very professional and also approachable. I appreciate her straightforward attitude and that she cites research when answering my questions. It depends a bit on the hygienist, but so far I've yet to experience any egregiously pushy salespeople for extra treatments. The staff at reception are friendly and don't act offended when you ask to confirm dental benefits and cost, as I've experienced at other practices. The entire practice overall is friendly and energetic, which again is a nice change compared to many other dental offices I've been to. The building is on the institutional-side and a little dated, but it's clean and functional. It's an easy-to-find location that's close to the Friendship Heights metro.

We had an old leaking flat roof on our condo building in DC. We got several proposals from local roofers and we selected APC Roofing based on their detailed proposal, price, references and warranty. They engineered an energy efficient white TPO system with a new drainage system that eliminated water from entering the top floors of the building. In three weeks the job was complete and no more leaks. APC Roofing was easy to work with and they always kept ahead of schedule. Thank you for a great job.

I want to start by saying I never write reviews, but I felt like I needed to in order to help others who are indecisive on their surgeon or their procedure.
As soon as I met Dr. Chang, I knew he was going to be the surgeon I chose. He was kind, funny, considerate and very compassionate. He made me feel comfortable right away, which I didn’t feel with the other 2 surgeons I had met with. He took the time to truly examine my nose. He spent the full hour consultation understanding my goals, examining my breathing issues, taking additional pictures and reviewing the “after” images of with me.
Following the consultation, I was in constant communication with his assistant, Samantha. Anytime I would think of a question or concern, I would email Samantha and within 1-2 business days she would reply back and address each and every question. She was so prompt and responsive. I persistently emailed her multiple times, and her responses were always so helpful, understanding and friendly. I really appreciated all the help she provided me on multiple occasions.
Upon surgery day, I felt very comfortable, and the process was extremely smooth. At no point in time was I confused on what the next step was or what I needed to do to prepare. Both Nurse Jackie and Nurse Tech Katherine, made the morning of my surgery very easy and comfortable. They were amazing.
Following surgery, Dr. Chang personally called and texted me to check in on how I was doing — this made me feel truly cared for. He also sent me videos and pictures of how my nose looked right after the surgery since I had a cast on.
I am now 2.5 weeks post-op and Dr. Chang has reached out to me a few times just to check in to see how I am doing. Although I have some swelling (which is expected), I love my new nose! Dr. Chang exceeded my expectations!
If you are considering a rhinoplasty, I 100% recommend Dr. Chang. You won’t regret it. I plan to go to Dr. Chang for any future procedures I will have.

Was able to speak with a doctor/nurse within 2-3 days after filling out the forms online (this was the weekend of Christmas so I wasn't exactly expecting a speedy response). Received my package 2-3 days later. The text support was helpful and everything went as well as it could have. 5-6 weeks later I felt like I was having complications and was able to speak with someone qualified within 15-20 minutes. They were very professional and eased my worries (2 different doctors/nurses on separate occasions), gave me lab orders for blood tests, as well as a doctor's note for missing work. Overall great experience. Would DEFINITELY recommend and use these services again

They are under new management now and their new name is Juve Beauty. This was my 2nd time visiting this salon under the new management. Both times I have had a great experience. The front desk is friendly. The interior is nice and clean. They normally have a baking show on - so don't go hungry :) Lexi did my nails. I got the powder dip manicure. She was great. She listened to me and shaped my nails the way that I liked them. You would think this would be a simple thing, but I can not tell you how many nail technicians do not get that right. If you can not get an appointment online try giving them a call.

The work progressed efficiently, the workmanship was excellent, and adjustments were made when desired. We now have a beautiful, highly functional, modern kitchen.
