“I am glad I was encouraged to return to Island Nails. Specifically, I want to acknowledge the improvement in service. I can easily recommend a basic pedicure and believe other services will be done as well.

I received a well done professional pedicure by Paul. I was able to have short notice appointment. My pedicure was a basic, gentle and complete. I was not rushed to pick color and was given extra time to sit in the chair for my polish to dry. I did not feel pressure to get more than a basic pedicure. The shop and bathroom were clean and brightly painted. A rolling video of beaches rather than noisy television was an extra nice touch.

I have given the business a 5 star rating, but do want to mention:

Paul was professional and completed my pedicures as well as allowed me to remain in the chair for my polish to dry. However, he was not available to help me put on my shoes or take my payment. Additionally, the “massage” was incomplete and the hot towel was simply used to wipe off the lotion. Please note this may indeed be an accurate level of service for a basic pedicure-just different than my precious experiences. The lack of upselling was nice, however I was not totally certain what was included. Having the services card would have been helpful. Overall, Enjoy your next pedicure at Island nails.

“Came with a friend for the first time - my regular mani was reasonably priced and straightforward, the polish actually lasted much longer without chipping than I expected! The process/language barrier made the whole appointment experience somewhat confusing though - she left me to dry my nails in front of a small fan before moving on to do another customer's pedicure, so I was unsure when I should be paying (at my previous salon, they always ask me to pay before painting so as not to mess up the polish). My friend also had a confusing experience - she initially wanted dip but they weren't able to accommodate her at our scheduled appointment time so with the wait cutting our available time short, she opted for a regular mani instead, during which the technician repeatedly tried to upsell her back to dip..“
