03/05/2025- I attended a burial for a dear friend. I had seen this cemetery but never really thought about it. The service was in the chapel area around 10:30 am, the flag was given to the son, there were a small number of family and friends in attendance. The casket was then rolled out towards the burial grounds. No horns were played. No military processional. No lowering of the casket into the ground. It’s was cold outside and it felt sad. “I’ll Miss you , my buddy”. His eye is on the sparrow. This is a 5 STAR Cemetery! I cannot understand why any person would have anything negative to say. The Staff and Ground Personnel do their jobs Extremely Well. I live very close to the cemetery and my family and friends are there. I visit several times a year. The grounds are very well kept and the personnel do a Fantastic job in explaining the dos and don’t. PLEASE PEOPLE don’t feed into the NEGATIVE Ratings.
My father chose this cemetery decades before he and my mom passed away mainly because it was closer for all of us to visit. The ground are beautifully maintained and I love visiting regularly. There are benches nearby for reflection. ♥️??
