In the last couple of months I lost two of my sweet fur babies, the staff at Tidewater were very caring and compassionate. It made losing my babies bearable. Both of my babies were chronically sick which is never an easy thing to find out or deal with but the staff answered all of my questions and educated me a lot on animal health. Losing a pet is never easy and to me the hardest part is right after when you’re emotionally stuck and don’t know what to do next, but the staff made my family feel seen and heard. I sincerely thank the staff for being understanding and supportive in my family’s time of grief.
Love this place. Switched over from another vet nearby when the previous place said my dog was lifting up his leg during walking from “allergies causing discomfort” when he actually required knee and ACL surgery. They follow up via phone and in-person. Dr. Mandel is our preferred veterinarian, and she is amazing.
Dr. Tammy Colson-Dorsch has been seeing my dog Jake for years now. She is very compassionate and frankly the only Vet I will bring him to. She has helped Jake with his stomach issues when it had seemed hopeless. He is alive today due to her knowledge and genuine caring.
