“This salon reminded me of the salons back in the day the kind where you didn’t just go for your hair, but for the conversations, the laughs, and the girlfriend vibe. The energy was warm, welcoming, and it instantly felt like family.

The salon is spotless and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches like wine and snacks that make you feel cared for. I was seen right away, no waiting, and the whole experience was seamless.

What really stood out was the personal touch. The owner was right there taking care of her own clients, answering calls, writing appointments in her appointment book (old-school style!), handing out wine, chatting with everyone, and spreading such positive energy throughout the room. That level of hands-on care is rare and so refreshing.

Stephanie gave me the most flawless bob sharp, polished, and full of life. She didn’t just style and send me off, she took time to tell me how to maintain it at home. Her energy was genuine and uplifting, inside and out. Her assistant gave me the best shampoo I’ve ever had, it felt like a spa experience.

“I was in town for a few days and figured it would be a good time to get my hair braided where my daughter and granddaughter get theirs done. I walked in, no appointment, no deposit, no long list of demands like so many of the new age braiders and was in the chair immediately to be serviced. The hair is provided and they had very close to the color I desired so that was another plus. I can't recall the spelling of the young lady's name who initially took me but she was pleasant and patient. Two more ladies ended up joining. Which cut my time down a lot so that I was out the door in a few hours. The shop was pretty in tact and they have signs offering snacks and beverages to include wine. No one offered but I also had food delivered. My braids are neat, a good length, and versatile to style other ways. And the price was right at $230. I'd definitely return when visiting the DMV.“

“I love coming here to get my hair washed, deep conditioned, blow dried, and styled. I also received a few color treatments as well over the years. I tried to replicate their service on myself at home, but it’s just not the same result. The facilities are really nice and so are the staff. I love that I don’t have to travel so far to get top notch service. An added bonus is that there’s ample parking, vending machines, and a good variety of food places surrounding this location so you can take a break to get some grub while you get your hair done.“
