I recently moved to the area about a year ago and needed a stylist that was professional and really reliable. I truly found this in Lawanda! I also love that I am usually in an out of her chair within 2 hours. I have armpit length thick semi relaxed hair and Lawanda does a truly fantastic job in getting my roots straight and flat! This was dealbreaker for me in finding a stylist, as I don't like puffy or stiff roots. She also is tremendously skilled at detangling and blow drying! My hair is thick which tangles and knots easily after washing. Lawanda takes her time and I don't experience hair loss or breakage during this process , as I have with other stylist.... read full review
I ran across this young lady by chance about 12 years ago. I admired her hair and how healthy it looked. She asked me who my stylist was. She said my hair looked good but I needed a trim. I explained I had been doing my own hair for years since I had a bad "chop job"when I only asked for a trim. She looked at me for a minute and simply said "I can hook you up." Years later I've barely had anyone touch my hair other than her. If you want a specific style, take her a pic and she'll surpass your expectations!
