Drove an hour to get here for our first initial visit to be told I could not go in. I'm supposed to let complete strangers treat my babies without me there to observe. They should have told me this over the phone instead of surprising me with this. I would have went elsewhere.I understand and sympathise with their sick staff member and wish the best for her.. But I garunetee that if it was their human babies they'd feel the same as I do.They should have said this upfront and I would have found another vet. This was my first visit there at boonsboro veterinarian I took my two little twin chihuahuas dogs and they the dogs were happy when they came back out to their car the nurse is there they seem very very nice and they explained everything to us so I would give him a five-star and I do thank them for caring about the animals that they care for thank you a boonsboro veterinarian May hosler

I met Sandy Garcia,and I would like for everyone out there to know she has the best when it comes to her care and compassion towards dogs and people. I had the Emergency vet in Hagerstown tell me they could not do a c-section that was to me an emergency because they did not have the staff there to do it and they had a lot in line which made me keep searching for a vet and no one could do the c-section and the puppies Gracie was going to have died. Sandy gave me her home number and told me I could call them any time should this happen again. Which I would not have done because they need time off work. But it was the care and compassion she showed me and after meeting her in person I knew she was a very good person. Just reading on their website of all the great info to help people, to let people know to give their dogs or cats a great life should speak for volumes in the great lengths they will go to help animals. I never met her husband ,But I know he too was behind the kind offer to do the c-sections on my dogs so they would never lose another puppy because no emergency vet would help them. Please remember every person is human if people think they are not perfect just know there are two sides and people only want to post online bad things and never think to post great things people have done. A vet is like all of us they are human. They cannot save every animal and most people take the pets to a vet when they are beyond saving then when they do pass they want to blame the vet. Great vets are hard to find.I only know based on meeting Sandy and the kind offer she and her husband offered me goes way above and beyond their job as a vet.I will never ever forget what they did.
