My family and I were extremely pleased with Pumphreys. The staff was kind, sensitive, and extremely responsive to our needs. Pumphrey’s managed the visitation, funeral, and related logistics extremely well. They were a huge help during a difficult time. A big thank you to Shelby and the rest of the team: William, Mark, Pavel, Travis, Miriam, Sydney, and Kristen.
We recently lost our father. Pumphrey funeral home in Bethesda handled everything for us. They were professional on all levels helped to answer our questions offer suggestions and reasonable options for my father's final disposition. The facility was top notch and very clean and impressive. Shelby Kelly deserves recognition here as she was very sensitive our needs explained the process very well. We never felt pressured in anyway. Highly recommend this funeral home.

Beyond GRATEFUL. I highly recommend Robert A. Pumphrey Funeral Home. Brad was able to facilitate arrangements and provide a pleasant and positive experience during our time of grief. From the first phone call, to the in person planning to the follow up, communication was consistent, compassionate and considerate. My first experience navigating the scenario and staff gently guided me in the right direction and beyond. In a time my family felt lost and/or stuck- Brad provided a compass. I will forever appreciate the staff and particularly Brad for helping me and my family during our time of need.
