“Took my daughter to get her first pedicure and manicure. It was her 9th birthday so i decided to take her on a mommy & me spa day. We booked our appointment online the day before I believe. This was our first time here so we were not familiar with the techs. We got there early and were seated right away. My daughter was in awe at the door lol, the place was pretty cute and fancy im not gonna lie. We were serviced by two gentlemen. My daughter loved her experience! She got a gel polish mani & pedi, i wanted to go all out for her! She picked all sparkly/glitter colors. It took a while for her to get her right color, so the patience was much appreciated! For me, its probably the first time i left a nail salon in maryland since moving here 4 years ago & was satisfied with my nails. I got a gel manicure set and was loving it. Never had a gel set before as im trying to not do the acrylic anymore. Anyways... its been two and a half weeks since our visit. My nails SURPRISINGLY still intact and looks good. Usually I'd be missing at least two nails by now so im super happy they are lasting. I also got a gel pedicure which seems to be lasting as well. My daughter on the other hand, all her polish are gone :( i thought getting the gel polish would allow it last longer so i wont feel like i wasted my money but no :( she's extremely sad about this since she's been extra extra careful in taking care of them. She did finish before me so now im thinking it was probably a rush work maybe because she is a kid but idk how mine is lasting and hers didnt. Very disappointed and sad about that.“
