I was helped by Paris. She is really helpful and very friendly, she is a joy to talk to. I haven’t gotten many services by her but I’m very pleased with the curls she gave me for my special event. Paris is the only stylist who did not discriminate me for my hair type and thickness, she instead boosted my confidence and removed some weight off of my neck for me (I have A LOT of hair.) I moved to the DMV from Detroit and had the hardest time finding a hairstylist. I have LUPUS and because of this I have suffered hair loss from time to time. Right now dealing with the loss of hair around my edges. So I was looking for a stylist that could provide a protective style so I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable with my hair loss. I found Bre’s Beauty Bar on Instagram. Her styles looked AMAZING! So I went to see if she as accepting new clients. When I came to the shop I was truly impressed with the look. Bre is a fantastic person. She listen’s to all your concerns and tries to give your advice for the best hair products for your hair type. I usually have a hard time trusting people with my hair. I’ve been going to her for about 5 months now. She tells me which hair supplies to buy in order to maintain my hair grow. She handles my hair with care. I love the silk press and deep treatment. I always get a lot of compliments from other people at work and through family friends about my hair. They always ask “ What’s your hair treatment?”. Will definitely recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a natural hair silk press.
