Before my appointment I received a text that the stylist I scheduled with couldn't make it in because her babysitter was ill. I walked in and Kendall, the owner told me to come back a couple hours later and she would do my hair herself. I had a time limit because I needed to pick up my son from school but she said she would have me out on time. I went to the nail salon next door for a mani pedi (#winning) then returned for my appointment. Kendall did a fabulous job on my balyage highlights. I'm not here to bash a business or tell you to avoid this salon, this is just an honest, factual review to help others make the best decision for their own hair needs.I went to see Marcia for a blonde balayage. My hair came out splotchy with huge chunks of orange and areas that were platinum where she went over my previous highlights. I asked what could be done about the orange and she tried to sell me purple shampoo and send me home. I asked if the purple shampoo wouldn't simply turn the blonde parts blue/purple and leave the orange, but she said the purple shampoo would fix it. Which of course it wouldn't. SO she toned it again. Love Serenity! The atmosphere is great, and I was taken great care of. Marcia is absolutely amazing, and gave me exactly what I asked for while keeping my hair healthy. This is a great Spa and I’ll recommend it to everyone!
