“Seriously, we need to anoint Dr. Angie DeBorja as the patron saint of physical therapy. Over the past year-ish, I've had chronic back pain with unpredictable flareups. I had gone to two doctors and traditional PT all to still have a debilitating flareup afterwards. I went to Dr. Angie pretty desperate and trying to figure out next steps. From day one, her approach was very inviting, and a couple of weeks later, the pain has significantly gone down and i feel like I have the right tools/techniques to continue using in the future. Coming here is one of the best health investments of my life and highly recommend you go to this practice. Additionally, the one-on-one therapy is such a game changer and i appreciate that greatly.“
“Quality of care and team work. The pool is warm and comfortable. Their reminders by text messages is timely. The therapist do a great job of modeling the skills. They always ask how I am feeling and adjust the activity accordingly. I would recommend this company to my friends.“
“Indigo Physiotherapy has been *incredible* for my physical health during two dramatically different pregnancies. I found Indigo PT because I was explicitly looking for a practice that had a strong component of exercise/running knowledge AND a focus on pelvic floor health and women pre and postpartum.
Since finding Indigo, I've worked with Dr. Jana who is absolutely STELLAR. Her bedside manner is professional, kind, and non-judgmental. Her ability to take into account my past (even across 2 pregnancies) but adapt to new and shifting changes and issues I have is refreshing. I ran every day of my first pregnancy and felt supported and encouraged–which is not people's typical reaction to running through pregnancy. I also got back to running 8-weeks post-C section and suffered no major complications, because I was actively practicing PT and ensuring that my progress was not faster than my healing with support from Dr. Jana. In my second pregnancy I stopped running but then suffered major SI joint and other joint/ligament challenges which *only* found sustainable relief through PT with Dr Jana and supportive massage from Medina.
It's a shame that insurance policies don't cover pelvic floor health and support for pregnancy and postpartum, but many cover parts of it. If there's one place you invest your money in your health outside of your insurance plan, let it be Indigo PT.“
