Faye is amazing. Very educated in hair maintenance for natural African-American hair. Takes appointments. Usually in-and-out in less than two hours for chemical, wash, blow dry, and style. Even quicker without chemical. Plenty of street parking. Salon is nice and clean. Door locked to outside, so no random people wander in.

The stylist and owner ms. Faye Roberts was totally closed but she was doing a client's hair for a photo shoot and she agreed to see me. I recieved a wash, condition, and blow dry and style. Price was reasonable and my hair looked fabulous..

This was my long time hair salon. I'm surprised that no one has written a review, but the owner is a very experienced stylist whom has always kept a lot of long time repeat customers. She/Faye never let any customer leave dissatisfied. I never had to worry about any hair fiascos as she would either ensure she was giving you what you asked for and would give you the best style suitable for you, your face shape, etc. I never had any issues like the hair fiascos that I've had since being in the south. I literally have never seen anyone in this town with really desirable hair (not their own hair anyways) and I've tried quite a few places. I've not seen one person in this town with nice hair, not without a ton of hair products and the use of styling tools. And, I've not been to one hair stylist here that has not messed up my hair or not been able to cut my hair properly, but I digress. Phase Uno has always had a bunch of very experienced, great stylists that can do virtually any style. I would highly recommend booking an appointment. They're usually very busy, so call ahead to get an appointment.
