Great music and a cute dog to greet you at the door (peacefully, he is resting)… The best part- affordability! You can’t beat it. We can’t wait to come back!“

“They took my pup in when others won't. I don't know what it's like behind scenes but they love on him in front of me and there's the only place he ISNT aggressive and shaking. And they are a pretty fair price for taking in the bad bunch they do. Only bad thing is they like to never answer phones when i want to make an appointment.“

“What an awesome, informative behind-the-scenes tour of how the National Aquarium runs. We loved learning about the quarantine period, how animals are cared for, and the rescue operations. Our guide was very informative and engaging - big kudos to Andy! The 90 minute tour covered so much information and we were so happy to have paid the extra fee to visit this center. Highly recommend! (FYI they have a small parking lot that they let you use free of charge during the tour with entry 30 minutes before).“

“We woke up at 9 this Sunday morning to find our Jardine parrot Jordan had managed to chew open a steel toy chain ring, and it was stuck on his lower beak. The closest emergency vet to us is Annapolis, but they told us they don't treat parrots and told us to call Falls Road. Dorothy answered and told us to bring him right in. It was a 45 minute drive, hoping and praying they'd be able to remove the chain but expecting they'd need to anesthetize him. Dorothy took him straight back when we arrived and we anxiously sat in the waiting room. Not five minutes later, Dr Bloom came out with a chain-free Jordan perched on her hand! They were able to cut it off without putting him under. When we got him home, he ate, drank, and then climbed to his sleeping perch for a well-deserved nap. We are so relieved and grateful.“
